Our research started by fully mapping out the existing program and reviewing competitor programs. We then conducted interviews and a survey to better understand what users liked, and where they were experiencing pain points. While most users were comfortable connecting their email and Amazon accounts to ReceiptPal, there was a real lack of understanding around their account connection status. Users were also very motivated to refer friends to the ReceiptPal app for extra rewards. My core tasks included:
With a user acquisition push in the plans, this update was a good chance to modernize the UI. We sought to simplify the ReceiptPal architecture by moving main app sections into a familiar tab bar interaction. Working towards our core goal of informing users to connect their email accounts, we also added signifiers throughout the app to notify them of their connection status. Flows & wires included:

To reach our acquisition goals, we designed a social media campaign informing users about what ReceiptPal is and how it can help them get rewarded.
